FAQ: Is my donation tax-deductible?

Tax deductibility

Tax law is different for every country, so we ask you to ensure for yourself that your donations to charity via Give For Good can be deducted from your taxes. We try to help you by collecting the relevant information for you, but the end-responsibility for ensuring the donations are tax-deductible lies with you as the donor. We have collected this information currently for the following countries:

Give For Good also works well without tax deductibility

It is good to note that while tax deductibility is an advantage, the Give For Good system also works well when the donation is not tax-deductible. The reason for this is that Give For Good helps you to increase the impact of each donation. We achieve this using an “interest-on-interest-effect”. See below for a graph that shows the impact someone would have made 100 years ago (if we had already existed then) with … :

  • a 10 dollar non-tax free donation
  • a 10 dollar tax-free donation
  • a 10 dollar non-tax free donation via Give For Good
