Jacinto Convit World Organization
The Jacinto Convit World Organization (JCWO) is a U.S. nonprofit and non-governmental organization founded in 2014 that supports vital areas of public health, such as cancer and infectious diseases in developing countries for vulnerable patients.
JCWO focal points are research and diagnostic of illnesses, as well as training of new professionals, via three high impact programs: Cancer Immunotherapy (CIP), Molecular Diagnostics (MDP) and Internship (IP).
The CIP develops a low cost, personalized, potentially safe and effective immunotherapy, named ConvitVax, targeted to underprivileged patients with breast cancer. The MDP provides a free of cost, early and specific molecular diagnostic for children and adults of all ages and genders, in poverty and extreme poverty affected by various types of cancer, mainly leukemia and solid tumors, as well as infectious diseases like HIV. The IP gives undergraduate, postgraduate and doctorate students from around the world, the opportunity to learn new skills and participate in highly challenging projects of the organization, contributing to their personal and professional growth.
