Protected Cradle Foundation

We assist pregnant and postpartum women who are reluctant to seek care and who think they do not want, are not allowed or are not able to keep their baby. We help them with their choice and ensure a safe pregnancy, delivery and a safe crib for the baby. These women are often far along in their pregnancy and pregnant due to incest or rape, from a violent partner or are migrant workers, illegal in the Netherlands or afraid of shame and honor killings. With us, they can, if desired, get anonymous help and in the extreme case leave their baby safely and anonymously in a Protected Crib room.
