Sustainability at Saxion
The consequences of the climate crisis are becoming increasingly evident and we are witnessing how the well-being of humans and animals is under pressure. The call for change from society is getting ever louder. Sustainability is a key priority at Saxion. They consider it their social responsibility to play their part in solving the ecological, economic and social challenges of our time. They do this through our education and research, both locally and in other parts in the world. Saxion is also working hard to be more sustainable as an organisation.
Saxion's contribution to a better world
Saxion has been actively contributing to the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) since 2018. These 17 goals aim to create a future-proof world.

For the design of the card Saxion is working together with extra PUURRR in Enschede, a place where people performing meaningful work matching one’s skills and needs (read more about extra PUURRR here). Therefore, each card has a unique design, created with hands and heart.
