Donating effectively

Here below we show the charities that we support under each theme:

  All themes: With this theme you support all effective charities that we support equally. Your donation will be used to support all charities in all themes listed below.

  Animal Welfare: For this theme we have chosen to donate to the Recommended Charity Fund of Animal Charity Evaluators. This fund is well-respected and funnels your donation to a large number of effective charities that all focus on animal welfare.
Charity Fund: The Recommended Charity Fund of Animal Charity Evaluators.

  Children: For this theme we have chose four charities that support children’s health and four that support their education, all with proven effect according to charity evaluators. 
Charities: Malaria Consortium, Helen Keller International (Vitamin A), New Incentives, Educate Girls, Iodine Global Network, Teaching at the Right Level Africa, EIDU, Imagine Worldwide Malawi. 

  Education and Research: For the theme Education and Research we have chosen to support four charities with proven effectiveness according to charity evaluators.
Charities: Educate Girls, Teaching at the Right Level Africa, EIDU, Imagine Worldwide Malawi.

  Environment: For this theme we have chosen to support the Climate Fund of the Dutch Foundation Donate Effectively. Based on the recommended charities in this area by the Founders’ Pledge, this foundation distributes donations to the most effective charities that aim to improve our planet’s environment and climate.
Charity Fund: The Climate Fund of the Foundation Donate Effectively (“Stichting Doneer Effectief”).

  Health: For the theme Health we have chosen to support eight charities with proven effectiveness according to charity evaluators.
Charities: Malaria Consortium, Against Malaria Foundation, Helen Keller International (Vitamin A), Strong Minds, Friendship Bench, New Incentives, Evidence Action, Iodine Global Network.

  Human Rights: In this area there have not been evaluations of effectiveness of charities yet. Therefore we have opted to choose two well-known, respected charities that support human rights globally: Amnesty International, Free Press Unlimited and Bellingcat.
Charities: Amnesty International, Free Press Unlimited, Bellingcat.

  International Aid: For this theme we have chosen to support four charities with proven effectiveness that target povery and agricultural productivity in lower income countries.
Charities: GiveDirectly, Innovations for Poverty Action, One Acre Fund, Village Enterprise.

  Vulnerable people: For this theme we have chosen to support a number of charities in the areas of poverty, mental health and domestic violence, that all have been found to be effective by charity evaluators.
Charities: Strong Minds, Friendship Bench, Breakthrough Trust, CEDOVIP, GiveDirectly, Innovations for Poverty Action, Oxfam, Population Services International, Raising The Village, Village Enterprise.
